The study group included sixteen people around 20 years old. They took 1,050mg of Green Coffee Bean Extract. The researchers also paid close attention to their diet, heart rate, exercise, body weight and blood pressure. The study lasted for 22 weeks.
This research used a crossover method, so that the control group of every subject was the same person. During six weeks, the participants took 1,050mg of Green Coffee Bean Extract three times daily. Then, after a washout period of two weeks with no supplementation, they continued to take the test drug for another period of time. Throughout the trial, they did not change their calorie intake, but the more Green Coffee Bean Extract the participants took, the more weight and fat reduction was registered.
Of the 16 volunteers, six volunteers had a body mass index in the healthy range. Each volunteer got rid of 17 pounds of body weight. In other words, 10.5% of the total body weight of the entire volunteer team.
